call for submissions:
reimagine your city magazine

The international design lab reimagine your city launches an open call for the submission of publications.

reimagine your city magazine in collaboration with SHIFT BOOKS aims to explore and rethink global urban issues through different spheres combining architecture, design, urbanism, art, social sciences, activism, and other relevant topics. In the first issue, we would like to rethink public spaces – both practically and theoretically – through the prism of diverse themes, such as war traces that drive sociocultural transformations, migration, land protection, and climate change.
We encourage interdisciplinary professionals, researchers, creative thinkers, activists, urbanists, architects, illustrators, designers, photographers, and artists from all over the world to submit their publications. We welcome all types of works, including essays, articles, interviews, essays, illustrations, sketches, and photographs.

The magazine is a collective work from an international group of like-minded people that would like to contribute to the discussion about rethinking public spaces in a changing world and draw attention to the current political, practical, and theoretical problems.

Deadline for submissions: March 1, 2023 (23:59 CET)
Selection results: March 17, 2023.
